This Past Week……………

February 28, 2009

Has involved, kleenexes, hacking, lost of voice, sleeping (I mean lots of it too), drinking hot tea with honey, Nyquil, Zicam up my nose & the most wonderful, loving family a girl could ask for.

Yes….I have been sick, BUT I’ve still had to live life as much as possible.  Both boys are in karate plus the youngest in scouts, I had an engagement session on Wednesday in SLC & my oldest had parent/teacher conferences yesterday.  For only the necessities have I risen out of bed to tackle on the world & do the duties I’ve HAD to do!  For the rest of the time I have tried to rest & get well.  What am I to my family & clients when I’m sick….NOTHING!  So I have to take care of ME first when I’m sickly.

My house this week has been a wreck…..that really makes me not want to crawl out of bed…I just want to pull the blankets over my head & wish for a cleaning fairy to come along :-)

This morning I awoke to my hubby had cleaned the kitchen.  He is so awesome to help around the house cleaning & get the boys in line to clean too.  It’s SOOOO nice.  Makes me wake up to a new day of happiness!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok….sorry for the novel…sometimes I tend to just write & write……

Here is a little cutie that mom is dying to see her little man.  I had soooo much fun at their home.  He was a GOER!!!!!!!  I’m NOT kidding when I say  you had to be fast on the shutter for this little guy.  He was a hoot!!!!  Mom & dad were the nicest people ever.  What great parents they are.  I really enjoyed my time there.  THANK YOU for having me in your home.

For the photographers out there that blog stalk……these were all shot with D200, manual mode, Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8 lens, ISO 400.  ALL natural light…no flashes…I NEVER shoot with flash unless it’s a reception.

So enjoy this handsome little fella………..

This is a post from the heart today as our little family are HUGE JAZZ FANS & they lost a dear loved one last night.

My husband & I sat watching TV last night & about 10:30 pm Larry H. Miller’s picture popped up on the screen with his date of birth-2009.  We both looked at each other & thought…WHAT??  HE DIED??  HOW SAD!!!

We did not know him personally, but we do not miss a Jazz game.  Whether we are at the Jazz games at Energy Solutions, watching it on TV or listening to the game on the radio…we are always with the JAZZ!!!!  Well & I should probably say MY HUSBAND is ALWAYS with them..haha..I only go to the games at Energy Solutions…LOVE THAT…. & I do watch them on TV.  We love Matt Harpring.  Our 8 year old son’s name is Matthew, LOVES basketball & his basketball jersey # is 15.  So Matt Harpring has a little place in our hearts :-)

Larry H. Miller was the owner of the Jazz team and one of Utah’s most recognized and influential people.

Our hearts & prayers are with him & his family/friends & the whole Jazz team.

Here is the story…

Utah Jazz owner Miller dead at 64

God Bless!

Ashley Mae: Aw, I had no idea! How sad- thanks for posting it; we dont have TV so we feel like the Amish.

Ginny: I love your senior announcements with pics. What a great idea.

A few messages for you….

First……time is running out….if you are still wanting your senior pics taken with the ubber cool, unique & fun ME then you need to get your session booked NOW.  I only have a few openings left for you 2009 seniors.  You don’t want to be the sad senior that waited & waited then missed out on having UNIQUE, FUN senior pics done.  Space is VERY limited!

Second…..to all my WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL seniors who HAVE done your senior pics with me don’t forget to keep spreading the word, because in MAY 2009 one VERY LUCKY senior will be getting some major MULAH for referring the most seniors to me.  So keep talkin……

Third…….for all the seniors who have gotten your senior pics done by me you need to start thinking about ordering your graduation announcements.  This year I have some SAWEET, FABULOUS cards.  They come in 5×7 size, printed on fine art PEARL paper, which is NOT photo paper.  It is thick, kinda like cardstock paper.  The pearl finish is shimmery & they TOTALLY ARE GORGEOUS!!!!!!!  You can order them in packs of 25.  They do come with envelopes.  For pricing please contact me.

Here are some samples…………
