Back in September I joined this super cute couple in Lake City, Colorado…..the place where it all began…………………….

That weekend we shot their engagements & bridals.  Lake City, CO holds a special place in their hearts.  They love Colorado & travel there often.  Russ proposed to his soon to be bride in Lake City, CO up in the mountains.  GORGEOUS place wouldn’t ya say!!!!

This couple is getting married this Saturday in Beaumont, TX…….SOOOOOOOOOOO I will be headed to Texas in the morning!!!!!

OFFICE CLOSED:::::Tuesday, Nov 10th - Tuesday, Nov 17th.  ALL emails & phone calls will be handled next week. 

I can’t wait for their wedding day…it’s bound to be SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Sky View High 2010 Sr. Rep……..

A fabulous wedding that I thoroughly enjoyed!  I spent my b-day with this couple on their wedding day :-)  I will always forever remember this couple cause they married on my b-day!!!!!  It was a spectacular day & all the fun we had…pure PERFECTION!!!!

Their Story::::::::

We met on a double date…..he was on a date with his girlfriend & I was on a date with one of his friends….hahaha….awkward…LOL!!!!  (Those were the bride’s words…not mine..haha) 

The Proposal::::::::

Steve told me that his football coach called and said that he needed to pick up an award from the football stadium.  He stops by his coaches house and picks up the keys. We get to the stadium and start looklng for this award. We can’t find it so he points to this door on the ceiling and asks me if iv’e ever been up there. I hadn’t so we walk up these stairs to this door and it takes us outside to the top of the stadium. It’s raining and thunder and lightning, it’s perfect! So i said, ” gosh.. why can’t you just have the ring? This is the perfect moment for you to propose!” He just laughed and then we started reminising on all of the goodtimes we had in cedar city. We had listed some of our favorite memories, then he pointed out over cedar city and said, “that is why i love you so much” so i look out to where he’s pointing and i say, “what i can’t see it” i turn back to him and he has the ring!!! WOW what a good day!

Reception:  A family friends back yard near the Sugarhouse area in Salt Lake City  (that back yard was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!)

I positively love this groom cause he knows how to be cool ;-)  I LOVED that he wore some bright socks…remember…ORANGE is his fave color

They were soooooo happy on their glorious day & everytime you turned around they were just glowing!!!!!

The guys…HILARIOUS!!!!!!! 

The girls were RADIANTLY gorgeous!!!!!

Since Steve plays college ball we of coarse had to incorporate that in their wedding day pics!!!!!

You see grandpa in the pic with his camera?  Well let me tell you a little story.  Once the couple came out of the Temple we walk to the stairs.  As I’m standing their waiting for the family/friends to all get to the stairs this grandpa comes up to me & asks me what part I take in this wedding?  As soon as he said that I KNEW EXACTLY why he was asking….hahahaha!  I put my hand on his shoulder & looked into his eyes & said with a smile…”I am Oaklee & Steve’s wedding photographer.  Why may I ask?”  He says…”Because everytime I take a picture you stand right in my way!!!!”  I looked at Oaklee & we both started laughing……I said..oh I am soo sorry…you are more than welcome to follow right by my side if you wish to take pics..hahahahhaa!  He  was my best buddy after that…LOL!!! ;-)  He was a HOOT!  He had me laughing all the time at the reception!

I’m sure you’ve never seen this at a wedding…instead of eating wedding cake….they ate a sandwich & a eau claire.  It was magnificent….& boy o boy did Oaklee get Steve….hahaha!

The kids were sooo cute at this wedding!!  This is Steve’s nephew.

I can only imagine what grandpa is saying to Steve.  haha…he’s such a cute old man

This one makes me laugh.  I have no idea what is going on, BUT mom is choking….hahaha!

Ok…now let me tell you what.  I have NEVER seen someone move on the dance floor like this guy!  HOLY CRAP can he dance!  MAN mercy he ROCKED the dance floor!  He drove from Cali….NO SLEEP & still was keep’n a beat at the dance floor.

Then Steve did a little lap dance for his bride…hahahaha!  OH MY WORD everyone here was sooooooo FUN to be around!
