I traveled to Texas to shoot this wedding.  I have to say this wedding was by far the biggest wedding I’ve ever shot.  It was AMAZINGLY beautiful.  I do mean BEAUTIFUL!!!  I was literally on cloud nine cause it was so amazing!  It was the first wedding I’ve actually ever have thought…I NEED 3 other photographers besides myself ;-)  Luckily I did have my little bestie with me…Misty Sue…LOL!  (that’s really not her middle name…hahaha)

I’ve been sorting & sorting & sorting through all these pics.  I don’t even know how I’m going to pick my favorites to post on my blog.  This may be a 3 part blog post cause there’s soo much!!!!!

Anyways for now I want to show how beautiful the bride was.  She was RADIANT!!!!!!

OFFICE CLOSED TILL TUESDAY, JANUARY 26th::::::::::::::Out of town celebrating my 10 year anniversary with the love of my life!!!!!!!!!!

WOW…10 years.  That seems like an eternity.  I can’t believe we’ve been married 10 years.  It seems just like yesterday I saw this handsome man standing on the dance floor.  I won’t ever forget that moment.  He made my heart flutter & skip some beats. 

Now our marriage hasn’t been pure wedding bliss, but it has been an adventure & now in this moment it is the BEST marriage ever!  I love this man with all my heart & soul.  He is VERY intelligent, handsome, a wonderful father, a spectacular husband, supportive, always gives his opinion (anyone that knows Michael….knows he always has an opinion..haha) & most of all my soul mate, my bestfriend!

This morning I write this as your wife of 10 years, your lover until the end & your soul mate until our very last sunset.  I am more  madly in love with you today than when I first laid eyes on you.  We’ve had our ups & downs & look where we are today!  I’m sooo blessed to have you in my life.  So blessed to call you my husband!

Happy anniversary Michael!  Love you till the end of time!!!!

Back in summer of 2007  my roommates & I became really good friends with Jake & his friends.  Jake insists it was love at first sight but I needed a little more convincing.  HAHA!  I gave the poor guy the run around until October 2007.  I quickly fell head over heals for him!

THE PROPOSAL:::::It was a total surprise!!!  Jake randomly asked me one day if I’d marry him & I said, “yes” of coarse.  The the next day we went & picked out a ring, told our families & I thought that was it.  Jake had more tricks up his sleeve.  The next week after I got off work I went to Jake’s house.  His mom called needing some meat & a camera for her girls camp meeting.  We walked to the ‘meeting’ house & in the back yard was a table set up for us with candles & flowers everywhere.  He planned a fondue dinner & dessert was chocolate & in the box was my ring.

We love doing lots of things together.  Talking, going on drives, concerts, dance parties, cooking, eating out, playing the guitar, relaxing, hiking/exploring, walking our dog Scout, road trips, taking naps, etc. etc.

I do have to say that this couple is sooo fun to work with.  They are so relaxed & have the best time together.

I was over the moon extatic when I showed up to their reception & saw they had a lounge area.  I look at high fashion magazine’s all the time & that is the biggest craze for wedding receptions is the lounge area.  I think it adds so much character to a bride’s reception!  I will post more on their story & venue’s tomorrow but for now just wanted to let you all know the lounge area & flowers came from the ever wonderful Ella Bella Floral here in Logan.

Needless to say I have a lot of sessions to blog  that were done before the whole holiday frenzy started.  I thought I’d post some of Dylan’s.  I met him down in SLC to shoot these.  Talk about photogenic!  WOW…I think he should totally model

Here is a little bit of info on Dylan::::::

He has been wrestling for 7 years, and took second at state last year, 1st at region and won the outstanding wrestler award for his region.  He plans to go to college next year, not sure where just yet.  He has had many recruitment letters sent from various schools, just waiting for the right team to join, he even was offered the opportunity to go to Johns Hopkins to pursue his degree in the dental field. He is currently interning for an Orthodontist, and loves it! He has a 3.8 GPA, and spends most of his time, coaching and running the Wrestling preseason program at his school.  He also helps coach the little guys in junior wrestling, when he has the time. Hopefully he will do well this year.  He had a 58-5 record last season which put him at a rank of second in the state for 5A schools for this season.  He also placed 4th at the Rocky Mountain Rumble out of 64 kids last season.  He absolutely loves wrestling with so much passion, and wants to be a coach himself, someday.  He would like to go to Boise State, Oregon State, University of Utah, or UVU, if he decides to stay in Utah, any NCAA Division 1or 2 schools is what his goal is.  Then on to Dental school.  He loves Teeth!  He also loves to write and wants to write a book someday, about what I’m not real sure.  That’s about it, its all about wrestling with him.  He’s a very motivated, goal driven, focused student, all around good kid, I mean young man.  (written by his mother

If you’re a 2010 high school senior there is still time to get your senior pics done.  Time will be running out very soon though so don’t wait!!!!!!!  I only schedule senior session up to May.  I won’t be accepting 2010 H.S. Seniors in May as my May gets super packed with weddings!!!!  SOOOO spread the word….hurry & get those senior pics done
